Josh Sims

Josh Sims is an Emmy Award-winning broadcaster who joined FOX Sports in July 2021. In 2026, he reports for FOX NASCAR across the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, handles sideline reporting for FOX college football and calls play-by-play for select FOX college basketball games. His FOX NASCAR credits include NASCAR RACE HUB, NASCAR RACEDAY, a full 2022 Truck Series season on pit road, a 2023 Daytona 500 pit-reporting debut, and a full season of O'Reilly Auto Parts Series pit reporting in 2023. He co-hosted NASCAR RACE HUB from June 2022 through the program's June 2024 finale. FOX identifies Sims as the first African-American reporter to cover pit road for a NASCAR national-series television broadcast. Before FOX Sports, he spent six years (2015-2021) as a sports anchor and reporter at WJZY in Charlotte, following roles at WTEN in Albany and NBC40 near Atlantic City. An East Brunswick, New Jersey, native, he earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Villanova University and a master's degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University. He lives in Charlotte with his wife, Christian, and enjoys music, movies, basketball and outdoor activities.
